Scottish Biodiversity List

The Scottish Biodiversity List is a list of animals, plants and habitats compiled by the Scottish Government. It includes species they consider to be of particular importance for biodiversity conservation in Scotland.

It is useful for anyone interested in nature conservation in Scotland and in general terms it highlights all the species that are rare or vulnerable. It is particularly important for public bodies that have to consider the impacts on these high priority species as part of their legal duty for biodiversity conservation.
